    ফরেক্স মার্কেটে লেনদেন করা হয় জোড় বা পেয়ার হিসাবে যেমন EUR/USD, USD/JPY ইত্যাদি। কেননা আমরা যখন লেনদেন করি তখন আসলে কোন দেশের কারেন্সী কিনি এবং অন্য আর একটি দেশের কারেন্সী বিক্রয় করি। এখন আমি যদি EUR/USD ক্রয় করি এবং এরপর EUR এর মূল্য USD এর বিপরীতে বৃদ্ধি পায় তবে আমি লাভ বা লস করি।
    যেমন আমি যদি EUR/USD ক্রয় করতে চাই তবে তাদের বিনিময় হার আমাকে বলবে যে আমাকে কত USD(Quote) দিয়ে এক EUR(Base) কিনতে হবে। EUR/USD= ১.৩২৩২১ হলে বুঝতে হবে ১ EUR(Base)কিনতে ১.৩২৩২১ USD(Quote) দিতে হবে।
    আবার, আমি যদি EUR/USD বিক্রয় করতে চাই তবে তাদের বিনিময় হার আমাকে বলবে যে আমাকে কত USD(Quote) পাওয়া যাবে এক EUR(Base) বিক্রয় করলে। EUR/USD= ১.৩২৩২১ হলে বুঝতে হবে ১ EUR(Base) বিক্রয় করলে ১.৩২৩২১ USD(Quote) পাওয়া যাবে। আরও সহজভাবে বলি, Base মুদ্রা হল লেনদেন এর ভিত্তি যা আসলে লেনদেন করা হয়। আমরা কোন Currency Pair কিনলে আসলে তার Base মুদ্রা কিনি তার জোড়ার বিপরীত মুদ্রা দিয়ে এবং কোন Currency Pair বিক্রি আসলে তার Base মুদ্রা বিক্রি করে তার জোড়ার বিপরীত মুদ্রা কিনি।যেমন, EUR/USD কিনলে আসলে EUR কিনি USD দিয়ে এবং EUR/USD বিক্রি করলে আসলে তার EUR বিক্রি করে USD পায়। ফলে, যায় করি না কেন তা আসলে Base মুদ্রাটিকে নিয়েই করা হয়।
    সাধারণভাবেই, ফরেক্স এর খুব প্রাথমিক কথা হল যে, আপনি যদি মনে করেন Base মুদ্রাটির মূল্য তার উদ্ধৃত বা বিপরীত মুদ্রাটির তুলনায় বাড়বে তবে আপনি ঐ Currency Pair টি কিনবেন এবং যদি মনে করেন প্রথম মুদ্রাটির দাম পরেরটির তুলনায় কমবে তাহলে জোড়টি বিক্রি করে দিতে পারেন।

    ফরেক্স আসলে একটা ব্যবসা। এটার বিষয়ে সঠিক জ্ঞান থাকলে বা বুজতে পারলে এটা থেকে প্রচুর পরিমান ইনকাম করা যায়। ফরেক্স বুজলে লাভ হবে কিন্তু যারা বোঝে না তারা এটা থেকে লস ছাড়া কোন কিছু পাবে না।

    আপনি যদি বায় দিয়ে কোনো ট্রেড ওপেন করেন তবে মার্কেট উপরের দিকে গেলে আপনার লাভ হবে, কিন্তু এক্ষেত্রে মার্কেট যদি নিচের দিকে যায় তবে আপনার লস হবে। অপরদিকে আপনি যদি সেল দিয়ে কোনো ট্রেড ওপেন করেন তবে মার্কেট নিচের দিকে গেলে আপনার লাভ হবে এবং উপরের দিকে গেলে হবে লস।

    খুব সহজ বুশয় তা হলো আপনি যদি পেয়ার এ বাই দেন তাহলে পেয়ার এর দাম উপরের দিকে উঠলে আপনার লাভ হবে, তবে আপনি যদি সেল নেন তাহলে প্রাক যদি নিচের দিকে নাম তাহলে আপনার লাভ.

    আসসালামুয়ালাইকুম, ফরেক্স মার্কেটে ট্রেড খোলা খুবই সোজা। আপনার যদি স্টক মার্কেটে ট্রেড করার অভিজ্ঞতা থাকে তবে আপনি তা আর তাড়াতাড়ি বুঝতে পারবেন। ।আপনি বাই (buy) অথবা সেল (sell) করবেন। আপনি যখন কোন কোরেন্সিতে সেল দেন সেই কোরেন্সির মুল্য কমে গেলে আপনার লাভ হবে আর যদি কোরেন্সির বাজার মুল্য বেড়ে যায় তবে আপনার লস হবে। ঠিক অপরদিকে আপনি যখন কোন কোরেন্সিতে বাই দেন তখন সেই কোরেন্সির মুল্য কমে গেলে আপনার লস হবে আর যদি কোরেন্সির বাজার মুল্য বেড়ে যায় তবে আপনার লাভ হবে ।
