    আমরা যারা ফরেক্স ট্রেড করে থাকি বিভিন্ন ব্রোকার এর মাধ্যমে আমাদের আলাদা আলাদা লিভারেজ থাকে। মূলধন অনুযায়ী এই লিভারেজ অনুপাতে একজন ট্রেডার আলাদা আলাদা লটে ট্রেড করতে পারেন। মূলধন একই থাকলেও যদি লিভারেজ এক না হয় তাহলে লট সাইজও এক হয় না। একজন ট্রেডার তার লিভারেজ অনুপাতে যে পরিমাণ লটে ট্রেড করে থাকেন তাঁকেই মার্জিন বলে। আর সর্বমোট মার্জিন থেকে ট্রেডিং এর মার্জিন বাদ দিলে (ট্রেডিং এ যদি লাভ হয় তাহলে মার্জিন এর সাথে ওই লাভ বিয়োগ হয় আর ট্রেডিং এ লস হলে ওই লস মার্জিন এর সাথে যোগ হয়) অবশিষ্ট মার্জিন কে ফ্রি মার্জিন বলে। মানি ম্যানেজমেন্ট অনুসরণ করে ট্রেড করলে মার্জিন সব সময় পজিটিভ থাকে আর ওভার লটে ট্রেড করলে মার্জিন সব সময় নেগেটিভ থাকে।

    মার্জিন এবং ফ্রি মার্জিন হল আপনার ব্যালেন্সের লিমিট নির্দেশক।আপনি যে লট সাইজের ট্রেড ওপেন করবেন লিভারেজ অনুযায়ী তার ক্রয়মূল্যই হচ্ছে মার্জিন।আর এই অংশ আর ট্রেডের লাভ ক্ষতি বাদ দিয়ে যে মুলধন থাকবে সেটা হল ফ্রি মার্জিন।এই ফ্রি মার্জিন হতে আপনি আবারো ট্রেড ওপেন করতে পারবেন কিন্তু লট সাইজের দাম লিভারেজ অনুযায়ী ফ্রি মার্জিন হতে কম হতে হবে।

    ফরেক্স মার্কেটে মার্জিন বলতে বিনিয়োগকৃত মূলধনের পরিমাণ কে বোঝায়। অর্থাৎ আপনি আপনার মূলধনের কতটুকু ট্রেডিংয়ে ব্যবহার করেছেন তার পরিমাণ হল মার্জিন। এবং মূলধন থেকে ব্যবহৃত মার্জিন বিয়োগ করলে যা থাকে তাই হল ফ্রি মার্জিন। ফ্রি মার্জিন নির্দেশ করে থাকে আপনি আপনার বাকি মূলধনের কি পরিমান ট্রেডিং এ ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন। ট্রেড থেকে যে পরিমাণ প্রফিট লাভ হয়ে থাকে ফ্রি মার্জিন সেই পরিমাণ বাড়তে থাকে এবং ট্রেড থেকে যে পরিমাণ লস হয়ে থাকে ফ্রি মার্জিন সেই পরিমাণ কমতে থাকে। লসের পরিমাণ অনেক বেশি হয়ে গেলে ফ্রি মার্জিন নেগেটিভ মানে চলে আসে। নেগেটিভ মার্জিন একটি নির্দিষ্ট মানে চলে আসলে ট্রেড অটোমেটিক্যালি ক্লোজ হয়ে যায়। এটা নির্ভর করে আপনি যে ব্রোকারে ট্রেড করছেন সেই ব্রোকারের মিনিমাম মার্জিন লেভেল কত তার উপর। ইনস্টা ফরেক্স ব্রোকারে মার্জিন লেভেল -10 শতাংশে নেমে আসলে ট্রেড অটোমেটিক্যালি ক্লোজ হয়ে যায়।

    আমি মনে করি যে, ফরেক্স ব্যবসায় এ মার্জিন এবং ফ্রি মার্জিন হল ট্রেড সহায়ক একটি ব্রোকার কমিশন একটি ট্রেড ওপেনের পর ঐ অ্যাকাউন্টের ডিপোর্জিটের উপর ভিত্তি করে ব্রোকার ট্রেডারকে মার্জিন এবং ফ্রি মার্জিন প্রদান করে থাকে। আর মার্জিন এবং ফ্রি মার্জিন হল সেই জিনিস যা না থাকলে আপনি ককনই ট্রেড করতে পারবেন না অর্থাত আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট ব্যালেন্স যথেষ্ট রয়েছে কিন্তু মার্জিন এবং ফ্রি মার্জিন একেবারেই নেই তা হলে আপনি আপনার ঐ অ্যাকাউন্ট ব্যারেন্স দিয়ে কখনই ট্রেড করতে পারবেন না।

    ফরেক্স মার্কেটে মার্জিন এবং ফ্রী মার্জিন বলতে এই বুঝি,,, যে আমরা যখন কোনো লটে নতুন ট্রেড ওপেন করি তখন আমাদের ডিপোজিট করা ডলারের সাথে সাথে মার্জিন কল কেটে নেয়,,,, যদি ওই ট্রেডে লাভ হয় তাহলে মার্জিন ও বাড়তে থাকে এবং যদি লচ হয় তাহলে মার্জিন ও কমতে থাকে । আর ফ্রি মার্জিন বলতে,, ট্রেড ওপেন করার পরে যে অবশিষ্ট মার্জিন থাকে তাকে ফ্রী মার্জিন বলা হয়ে থাকে,,, ধন্যবাদ ।
