    টাইম ফ্রেম এর মাধ্যমে একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে মার্কেটে প্রাইস কি পরিমাণ ওঠানামা করেছে তা জানা যায়। এক মিনিটের থাকে শুরু করে ১ মাসের পর্যন্ত টাইম ফ্রেম আছে। যেকোন নিদৃষ্ট টাইম ফ্রেমের মাধ্যমে ওই নিদৃষ্ট সময়ের মাধ্যে মার্কেটের প্রাইস কি কি পরিমাণ হ্রাস-বৃদ্ধি হয়েছে তা জানা যায়। ক্যান্ডলস্টিক এনালাইসিসের জন্য টাইম ফ্রেম খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। শর্ট ট্রেডের জন্য নিদৃষ্ট কিছু টাইম ফ্রেম আছে এবং লং ট্রেডের জন্যও কিছু নিদৃষ্ট সংখ্যক টাইম ফ্রেম আছে। যথা,
    m1,m5,m15,m30,H1,H4,D1,w1,NM.
    শর্ট, মিড এবং লং ট্রেডিং এর ওপর নির্ভর করে এই টাইম ফ্রেমগুলি সিলেক্ট করা হয়। শর্ট ট্রেডিং এর জন্য m1,m5,m15,m30। মিড ট্রেডিং এর জন্য H1, H4, D1 এবং লং ট্রেডিং এর জন্য W1 এবং NM টাইম ফ্রেম সিলেক্ট করতে পারেন।

    একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় এর পর পর ক্যান্ডেল যে পরিবর্তন হয় তাকে টাইমফ্রেম বলে। টাইমফ্রেম ফরেক্স মার্কেটের জন্য খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ । টাইম ফ্রেম এর উপর ভিত্তি করে একেক জন একেক ধরনের ট্রেড করে থাকে। আমরা সাধারণত 8 রকমের টাইমফ্রেম দেখি। যথা এক মিনিটের টাইম টাইম 5 মিনিট 15 মিনিট 30 মিনিট 1 ঘন্টা 4 ঘন্টা একদিন সাতদিন। আমরা যে টাইমফ্রেমে ট্রেড করি না কেন ভিন্ন ভিন্ন টাইম ফ্রেম সম্পর্কে এনালাইসিস করা খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

    প্রাইস ওঠানামা দেখানোর জন্য ক্যান্ডেলস্টিক ব্যবহার করা হয়। ক্যান্ডেলস্টিক গুলো একটা নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্য সর্বোচ্চ এবং সর্বনিম্ন প্রাইস শো করে। ক্যান্ডেলস্টিক গুলো যতটুকু সময়ের জন্য প্রাইস শো করে তাকে এক একটা টাইম ফ্রেম বলে। মেটাট্রেডার4 যেটা আমরা ইউজ করে থাকি সেখানে নিম্নোক্ত টাইম ফ্রেম গুলো দেওয়া থাকে।
